Use a computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.

The library has two public computers. Wi-Fi is also available to those who want to bring in their own web-enabled devices.

Two computers are connected to the internet and have the 2007 version of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as the word processing software.  Printing from the computer is available and the cost is 10¢ a page for black and white and 40¢ for color.  The computers may be used according to these guidelines:

·        Log-in your name, date and time of day on the sign-in sheet. The sign-in sheet is located on the computer table.

·        Internet use is limited to 60 minute sessions-unless no is waiting to use the computer.

·        Unacceptable uses of the computers such as viewing pornography or anything considered illegal will result in suspension of internet use privileges.

Links to computer use policies will be coming in the future.
