NASA ASTRO CAMP

2021-05-03 13:33:03

Attention Cambridge and Ballard Youth – Grades 4-12

NASA Astro Camp® is an opportunity for youth to get involved in and experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) -- and to learn more about space with NASA unique activities. Astro Camp® is a great way to help youth foster career dreams of tomorrow and develop life-changing goals through Next Generation science, math, and engineering skills!

Now is your chance to see if you really have what it takes to go to infinity and beyond!  Register for the Cambridge Memorial Library NASA  Astro Camp and complete missions such as designing a mission patch, building a space helmet prototype, and using a stomp rocket to launch paper rockets.  With a Zoom call to Peggy Whitson, native Iowan and NASA astronaut, and other surprise virtual visits, youth will get to engage with and learn from real NASA astronauts!
